Here is the Post about How to add Custom Field to "Quick Find View ".
First of all You need System Customizer or System Administrator permissions to do that.
Let Us goto the Topic, If You need to do Quick find for custom filed or any other field to search then You have to select that particular entity to QUick Find:
Here is the Post for Adding "Contact" Entity Custom field to Quick Find View.
1) In crm 2011 On-Premise Goto Settings -> Customizations
2) Select Account Entity and click on it You may find "Views" Under Account Entity now click on Views.
Contact -> Views
On the Right hand side You'll find all views in Account Under that in the last You may find "Quick Find Active Contacts" Please Double click on it.
Now You will get a Dailogue box of Quick find here You can do
1) Adding Columns to see in the View and
2) Add columns to Find .

Here I have Added to the View to Visible in View.
Now goto "Add Find Columns" on right hand side click on it and select the field for which field you want to search for -> select Checkbox click and press ok
Now Publish All Customizations
Hence your quick find is over..

I've followed this and got it working on the customer entity and 7 other entities, but can't get it to find anything with the other 80 enttities, even though the instructions have been followed the same each time. the view columns appear but are all empty, even when I know the etxt I searched for is in the active view before searching.
